Recently, the Federation of Veterinarians in Europe (FVE) (1), the Federation of European Companiona Animal Veterinary Associations ( FECAVA) (2) as well as members of the National Institute for Child Health and Human Development (NICHD)l in the US (3 ) as well as the American Veterinary Association (4) have explicitly endorsed the use of BD in 2011/2012 publications.
